Pastor David S. Jacques
Lead Pastor
Pastor David S. Jacques – a trail blazer, thought leader, and visionary, are some words that describe this passionate spiritual leader who is dedicated to preaching the Gospel, in a manner all races, education, and economic backgrounds can connect with. As founder and senior pastor of The Kingdom Church (TKC) based in Orlando, Florida along with multi-site TKC campuses throughout Central Florida, Pastor David’s focus is on Enlightening, Empowering and Encouraging believers and unbelievers alike.
Actively serving in ministry since the tender age of 12, Pastor David’s first ministerial role came when he served as director for the Youth and Young Adult Ministry at First Haitian Baptist Church of Orlando. At the age of 17, Pastor David continued to be a blessing when he launched Scriptural Warfare, an inner-city Bible study in the Carver Shores neighborhood, in West Orlando, Florida. This inner-city program was later merged with and continued at New Destiny Christian Center, under the late Pastor Zachery Tims, where he also served as young adult minister.
Pastor David is a firm believer in the importance of receiving an education and accomplished many academic achievements throughout his life. As a graduate of Dr. Phillips High School, Pastor David was in the Center for International Studies (CIS) Magnet Program. He currently holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He also received his Associate of Arts Degree, while minoring in Biblical Studies from Belhaven College. He is an alumnus of Princeton Theological Seminary certificate program, Black Theological Leadership Institute from Princeton Theological Seminary, and is now a part of Yale Divinity Scholar’s Program. He is a licensed commercial real estate agent specializing in religious assets and owns several entrepreneurial businesses. He is a certified Grief Recovery Specialist through the Grief Recovery Institute.
Pastor David’s many accomplishments are of no surprise to his family and friends. When his mother was three months pregnant with him, she recalls a prophetic dream in which the Lord told her, “This child will become a pastor.” As young as seven her dream had begun to manifest. Pastor David was observed preaching to empty chairs as well as to friends on the basketball court. Today the Boston native continues to fulfill the legacy spoken of him in his mother’s womb.
Pastor David is the proud husband of Karen Jacques. They have four beautiful children: David, Destini, Desiree, and Deven. Pastor David is a young man reaching destiny and fulfilling purpose all for the glory of God.
Lady Karen Jacques
West Campus
Karen Jacques was born in Boston, Massachusetts where she enjoyed spending time with her parents and 3 siblings as a little girl. At the age of nine, her family moved to Central Florida where she grew up and graduated with a B.S Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Central Florida. Karen has a passion for teaching, designing, and organization.
She has compassion for those around her and wants to see others do well. She taught in both the public and private school setting for over 9 years as she impacted young minds academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Karen truly loved the work she did in the classroom but recently made the difficult decision to put a pause on her career of teaching to better serve her family at home. After all, her number one passion is her family.
Karen realized that the older her children became, the more she felt called to make herself more available to them. Currently, she loves working alongside her husband, David Jacques who she has been happily married to for 17 years. She enjoys tending to their 4 beautiful children as she watches them grow and become all that God has called them to be. Karen loves the Lord with all her heart and has a desire to seek His will for her life each and every step she takes towards her future.
