Maintenance Technician

Days/Hours: Monday-Friday/ 35-40 hours per week


Reporting Location: The Kingdom Church – All Campuses


Salary Range: $14-18/hour


Purchase Requests To: Executive Manager


Approval of Purchases From: Depends on amount: < $100: Executive Manager; >$2,500: Executive Pastor

Overall Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for making sure that all buildings and their services function properly and are maintained for life expectancy. The Maintenance Technician is required to complete minor building repairs, cleaning, groundskeeping, security, and parking, to make sure the environment is in a suitable working condition by using best business practices to manage resources, vendors, services, and processes.

  4. Knowledge of maintenance and repair to masonry, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lawn care

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree or Trade certification (preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (required)
  • Must have minimum of 5 years work experience in construction, maintenance, and/or facility operation
  • Must have the following tools available for use: hammer, screwdrivers, drill
  • Have a valid driver license
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenance tasks
  • Ability to climb ladders and work from heights
