CRU YOUTH

The youth ministry for middle and high school students at The Kingdom Church is called CRU (Christians Rising Up).

Sundays during service time

CRU Youth Ministry’s mission is to create a fun, loving, and nurturing atmosphere to help foster the spiritual needs of the youth through prayer, scripture, mentorship, and fellowship.

The vision of CRU Youth Ministry is to provide an environment for the youth of The Kingdom Church where they can grow in faith and develop the necessary skills to thrive into adulthood. Through the power of God and the Holy Spirit, we will teach and apply God’s truth from the Bible to encourage their walk in Christ, support career and personal development, and help them discover their unique purpose and identity in Christ. We will motivate the youth to use their gifts and talents to glorify God through their lifestyle, speech, and accomplishments. With confidence in God, the youth will become leaders representing and standing up for Christ (“STAND UP AND STAND OUT”).

Volunteers

All adult volunteers that serve with the youth have cleared a criminal background check. Adult volunteers are also teachers and administrators in local middle and high schools; some are college students, others are professionals in other fields. CRU Youth can connect to someone who not only understands where they are in life now but also adults who model where they want to go. Your youth can come as they are, but they won’t stay as they are because we hold true to Hebrews 10:39 that states, “But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.”
